Frequently Asked Questions About Minnesota Bail Bonds

Getting out of jail can be a confusing and stressful process.  Here are some answers to questions that we frequently get.

Q: Someone I know has been arrested and is in jail.  What should I do?

A: The quicker you call us, the quicker we can get them out.  So, you’re first call should be to AnyTime Bail Bonds.  Our agents can guide you through the process and get the person released as quickly as possible.

Q: What happens if I get arrested on a weekend or holiday?

A: Under Minnesota law, a judge is not required to set bail immediately. You could be waiting through the weekend to get bail set.  However, AnyTime has had success contacting judges on weekends and holidays to get bail set quickly.  Call us to see how we can help.

Q: I have a warrant, Do I have to go to jail?

A: Sometimes a warrant can be cleared by posting a bond instead of spending time in jail.  Even if your warrant cannot be immediately cleared with a bond, we can work with you to get a new bail set and post a new bond.

Q: What happens if I miss a court date?

A: If you miss a court date, your bond could be forfeited and a warrant could be issued.  If you miss a court date, we can work with the court to make sure you keep the bond and avoid a warrant or jail.
